When we teach about the art of online hosting in webinars a common question people ask is: “How do I keep the conversation going in an environment where I can’t even see my trainees?”
The question is well grounded because webinar technology clearly prevents the richer monitoring of signs of interest (or lack of interest) that goes on when we speak face-to-face. Additionally people in our culture are becoming increasingly clueless about the art of making conversations with strangers… So in order of being helpful to the participants of my online sessions, I have researched and created a checklist that provides some pointers and ideas to those who might struggle at times with this very basic skill of hosting.
I hope the checklist it’s useful to you!
